Elementary

1st-6th Grade

Establishing a strong foundation of academic excellence.

As students build on what they've learned, the subject content and skills grow more challenging. However, learning stays fun and engaging throughout the elementary years. Starting from the foundation set in kindergarten, students become more confident readers and go deeper into grammar, writing, science, and math. Each child is taught by dedicated teachers who bring God's Word into the classroom and a genuine commitment to training our students in both academic excellence and good character. Students also get the chance to discover their interests through extracurricular activities built right into the school day.

Curriculum

Our elementary program uses the Abeka curriculum, a proven, academically rigorous approach that has equipped students for success for decades. Rooted in a Christian worldview, Abeka takes students in grades 1st through 6th on a well-structured journey through phonics, reading, grammar, math, science, and history—building knowledge and skills year after year in a logical, sequential way. The curriculum's high standards challenge students to think critically and develop strong academic habits, while its faith-based foundation ensures that every subject points back to the truth of God's Word. With colorful, engaging materials and a teacher-friendly design, Abeka makes learning both effective and enjoyable, giving our students the tools they need to excel academically and grow in their faith.

Extracurriculars

Our elementary program offers a rich variety of extracurricular opportunities designed to help students discover their gifts and grow as a whole person. Students are introduced to the world of music through handbell instruction, with older students having the opportunity to learn violin, guitar, and piano—nurturing a love for music and developing discipline and creativity along the way. Our athletic program encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, and a healthy, active lifestyle, giving students a chance to build confidence both on and off the field. At the center of it all is a strong spiritual foundation, supported by a dedicated Bible teacher who pours into students' faith on a consistent basis. Regular chapel services bring the entire elementary community together to worship, hear God's Word, and be encouraged in their walk with Christ. Together, these opportunities ensure that every student is growing not just academically, but spiritually, socially, and creatively.
